Design Program

The two-story addition to this island lake summer home was designed to be nothing like the traditional cottage.  It’s summer residents wanted the addition to be sleek and contemporary with a modern European feel. White, austere walls with accent of bright orange within the furnishings, creates a clean palette for the lake view. Contrasting elements of wood, glass, metal and stone were used on the stairs and the bedroom balcony overlooking the living room.
