Girl Scouts Adventure Cabins - Green Architecture on a Budget
With so many of the popular ‘green’ techniques being too pricy, selling owners on being ‘green’ can be difficult. A simple answer; low tech cooling techniques that have been around for centuries will be used to teach that being green is not always too expensive. At Camp Merrie Woode each cabin will use either: evaporative cooling, where water is sprayed onto the roof to run down and evaporate, then a fan pulls the cooled air in or, a fan will pull the cooled air from under the shaded and elevated cabin floor

Kalamazoo / Battle Creek International Airport - Glass Art
SKP Design was awarded the contract to design glass art in the new terminal. The design will span 5 openings and will be 608 sq.ft. of glass. The glass will encompass a regional theme from urban Battle Creek and Kalamazoo to the Lake Michigan Shore.
