The Springs at Bronson Place
Located at The Fountains at Bronson Place, The Springs offers comprehensive nursing and rehabilitation services in a serene, comfortable setting. The Springs offers twenty-four patient rooms with two beds each and two private patient rooms.
The
Lobby introduces a refreshing new palette that is used
throughout the rest of the space. The new materials and
furnishings create a cheerful, bright and friendly environment.
The
Main Dining Room at The Springs offers a comfortable
dining experience for both residents and visiting family
members. The remodel included new finishes, millwork,
furniture, window treatments and artwork.
Client
Objective
To execute a complete interior remodel, updating finishes, furniture, window treatments, signage, artwork and accessories. Client wanted to provide an upscale, quality and safe environment, while making the residents feel at home. The space also needed to welcome guests, attract potential residents and their families, as well as improve the work experience for nursing staff and physicians.
Design
Program
Each private or shared room at The Springs features a
window view to the countryside, a welcoming furniture
layout and a bright, cheerful color palette. The rooms
resemble the residents' own homes, creating a balance
between required clinical room elements and homelike
materials and finishes.
Family and guests enjoy the
newly expanded Lounge Area, complete with rocking chairs,
fireplace, built-in entertainment center and an aviary. This
room provides a relaxing, cozy sitting area that is enjoyed
by all residents. Located directly across from the Nurse
Station, the Living Room also allows nursing staff direct
visibility and accessibility to residents.
The centralized nurse station
was renovated to incorporate the warm, rich wood tones as
used on millwork throughout the space. Surface materials
add a splash of accent color to the desk, while using durable
and easy to maintain finishes.
