Projects at the Designers Home - Backsplash
Selecting a residential backsplash can be a lot of fun!
It can either be a feature in your kitchen, or a neutral back drop to add a cleanable surface.I have held off installing my new backsplash tile until my kitchen counter and sink are replaced.
Since my cottage home has rustic and modern elements, and was originally built in the 1930’s, I chose a mesh mounted Ann Sacks Savoy penny tile for the backsplash.
The color is white, with a slight shade of grey around the perimeter of the face of the tile. This gives the tile a slight three dimensional look. I can’t wait to see it installed! The color will coordinate nicely with my new counter and porcelain cabinet hardware.
